Never thought about marrying a Thai person! The process of the Non-O dependent visa

Hello everyone, I am Nini, a Taiwanese girl who never thought about traveling to Thailand but directly married and moved here. After completing the marriage registration, the next challenge is the most tedious: the Non-O dependent visa. The Thai dependent visa must generally be processed at the place of residence. Since my Thai husband works in another province, to save time at the Bangkok Immigration Office, we decided to use an agent. The advantage of using an agent is that the documents are clearly prepared, avoiding omissions or the risk of having to make extra trips for additional documents, usually saving time and completing the process within half a day; many people have shared that unless you arrive before 5 a.m. to queue and get a number, you need to prepare to spend the whole day there. A friend once arrived at 1 p.m. and waited until the office closed to finish the process. 1. First application (must be done together as a couple) Submit documents and passport to get a number; after approval, the couple will be called to the counter for a photo. The passport will be stamped with the date for the next visa collection (about 3 weeks to 1 month). 2. Second visa collection (applicant only) Return the passport and get a number → wait for the call → collect the Non-O visa. If you frequently enter and exit Thailand within a year, you can also apply for a Multiple Entry visa. The documents required each year are mostly similar.
