How to apply for a BOI visa? A real record of the work visa application process for my company in the country

Recently, our company happened to be applying for a BOI visa for a colleague. From having no clue at the beginning to gradually collecting information and confirming details, I have organized the BOI visa application process as follows: Using our company as an example, we are a multinational company with offices in both Taiwan and Thailand. This time, the personnel was recruited from Taiwan to work in Thailand. 1. Confirm whether the organizational structure applying to BOI has this position and whether the personnel meet the relevant qualifications for the BOI visa. (It's best to have a long-term plan for the organizational structure; otherwise, every time a new position is created and needs to be modified and applied for, it will require extra time waiting for approval.) 2. The Thai BOI company submits foreign personnel information to BOI. 3. BOI approval. 4. The Thai BOI company prepares an invitation letter and attaches the BOI approval documents to send to the Taiwan company. 5. The Taiwan company applies for a Business Visa at the Thai Representative Office in Taiwan based on the BOI approval documents and invitation letter. 6. The Taiwan company obtains the Business Visa and shares the related Business Visa information with the Thai BOI company (once the Business Visa is obtained, the employee can fly to Thailand). 7. The Thai BOI company fills in BOI-related information (including flight details). 8. BOI approval. 9. The Thai BOI company schedules an appointment and takes the employee to the BOI One-Stop Service Center or Immigration Bureau to apply for the Work Permit & Visa.
